Army Infiltrates Peace Groups In Washington

There exists a long history of government infiltration in activist groups. Back in the day, infiltrators were sent into the Brown Berets and many different Raza Power groups from different agencies. Even relatively conservative groups like LULAC have been surveilled. Much of the information is now available through the Freedom of Information Act. COINTELPRO, the government project responsible for some of the greatest atrocities, had a stated goal of “neutralizing” dissidents. The problem is, I don’t believe that such surveillance has ever ended. It has just changed forms, using more decentralized forms of management. It is becoming clear that there might be much more centralized control of such surveillance resurfacing. For anyone interested in the subject, this clip is well worth your time.
