Chickenhawk and Bully Tom Tancredo Whimpers Off Set
Anti-immigrant politician, and now official chickenhawk, couldn’t take some of his own medicine and whimpers off set in a nationally-aired debate with Markos Moulitsas. I guess nothing has really gone right for the right lately. Maybe they’re losing their animal testosterone injections with the impending healthcare reform bill. I don’t really know, but what else can explain all-around bully Tom Tancredo walking off the set after not receiving an apology from an opponent in a nationally-aired debate. I suspect that he was trying to hide his tears.

Through college, Tancredo was a Republican and an active member of Young Americans for Freedom. He strongly supported the Vietnam War. However (and this is a BIG However) after graduating from the University of Northern Colorado, Tancredo became eligible to serve in Vietnam in June 1969. Tancredo went for his physical, telling doctors he had been treated for depression, and eventually got a “1-Y” deferment.
Chickenhawk: a politician, bureaucrat, or commentator who strongly supports a war or other military action, yet who actively avoided military service when of age.
