Dear Sam
Dear Sam,
When you needed a place to go we let you in our home. You were down on your luck and needed a place to build from.
You said that you would respect the rules of the home, and that you would learn the customs of the home, but you didn’t.
You kept letting friends in. We didn’t like that because they didn’t respect the rules either, and you kept getting stronger.
We couldn’t do much about you and your friends. You were too unruly and we were too weak from kicking two other strangers out of our house, which you didn’t help us with.
You tried to buy the house from us, but we didn’t want to sell, so you took it anyway, by force.
You said that we could continue our household customs and that you would respect our personal property, but you lied, becuase you beat us when you saw us speaking our language and you took our property sometimes by arms and sometimes by the courts.
At first we stood up to you, but then we just kept asking you to change and to be nice to us. We kept trying to reform you. We kept trying to be part of your house, and when you hurt our feelings, we asked you not to. We wanted to be included in what was now your house. We carried your coat of arms and wanted to be a part of your family.
Now we just want our own home.
We’re not asking for something that isn’t ours. We will build our own home for ourselves. You keep the house that you’ve corroded.
Sincerely,
Us
